After all the holiday feasts, nothing feels better than resetting the mind, body (and belly) at a luxury wellness retreat. Whether you’re looking to drop some pounds, get better sleep or simply find some me-time, here are some of our fave spots to get your wellness on around the world.
The Farm at San Benito, Phillippines
The ‘OG’ of wellness resorts, The Farm at San Benito has been open for over two decades now but continues to be a leader in its field. Located just an hour’s drive from Manila, you won’t have to go cold turkey on your carnivorous diet here (they’ve ditched the strict raw vegan eats for a mix of veggie, pescetarian and flexitarian options) but the juicing and liquid diets are surprisingly satisfying.
Tip: Go for the three-step colon hydrotherapy for an extra quick slim down.

Asa Maia, Bali, Indonesia
This intimate, 10 joglo (aka. suite) resort in Uluwatu is perfect for a wellness getaway that’s close to Bali’s famed sunsets and surf breaks. Serving a delish pescetarian menu at its open-air restaurant, the Asa Maia has the most aethetic, subterranean contrast therapy (hot and cold plunge) on the island – plus an infrared sauna and outdoor campfire to warm up.
Yoga takes place in the upstairs shala, alongside expert massages at the spa and an extensive library of books to nourish your mind.

Fivelements, Ubud, Bali
This lush eco-wellness retreat nestled on the Ayung river in Ubud draws on the ancient traditions of Bali for all its spa and wellness treatments. At Fivelements, you’ll feel like you’ve entered a sort of dreamy Smurfland with perfectly manicured environs, outdoor pools and stunning suites to rest and recover with flower baths and outdoor showers.
Daily yoga classes take place in the temple-like yoga shala while the menu here is entirely plant-based, and spa treatments are mostly riverside with the sound of the rushing water soothing you to sleep.
