A High Performance Coach’s Top Spots To Rest & Recharge

Born and raised in the land of tulips and windmills (aka. The Netherlands), Pauline Leung is a true globetrotter who’s lived in Amsterdam, Hong Kong and now, New York.

Beauty is in her blood – after working for nearly two decades in the corporate world, Pauline left the glitzy life of a business executive at L’Oréal to become a high performance coach and yoga and meditation teacher. She now runs Flow Grounds, a space for professionals around the world who want to build a life they truly love and thrive in both their personal and professional lives.

Ahead of her next stop in Singapore for ELEVATE, her first wellness and performance-focused urban retreat in Asia, she shares some of her favourite spots in the world to refocus, rest and recharge in Hong Kong, Amsterdam, New York and Singapore:

New York

Lafayette Grand Café & Bakery

Why go? Lafayette is a beautiful French café with a vibrant atmosphere – perfect for breakfast or lunch meetings. Their colourful pastries and dishes are always a delight.

Insider tip: Arrive early to enjoy their legendary croissants and secure a spot on the terrace for great people (and dog) watching.
