Hailing from the South of France, Solène Verrot has always had an eye for beauty. The glowin’ globetrotter is currently the managing director EstheClinic, a Parisian beauty salon with locations in Hong Kong and Singapore, which she travels back and forth between France and Asia for in pursuit of the latest pain free, non-invasive and aesthetic treatments. From easy-peasy hair removal to age-reversing facials, EstheClinic has become a go-to spot for ladies wanting to look their best.
Besides beauty, Solène is also an expert on her current hometown of Paris. For our latest edition of LUXE Insider, she shares six of our her favourite spots in the City of Love:
Le Plume Restaurant
This unique rooftop in Rive Droite offers an amazing panoramic view over Paris. An oasis in the middle of the city, enjoy Japanese food restyled the French way.
Insider tip: Have a tipple on the rooftop before dinner, and don’t miss the sole tempura and pastries by the legendary Pierre Hermé.
Serge Thoraval Jewelry
Looking for an amazing French jewellery brand? You can’t go wrong with Serge Thoraval. An artist who has collaborated with Yves Saint Laurent, Thierry Mugler, and Lanvin in the past, all jewellery is handmade in France in their own workshop.
Insider tip: Perfect for gifting!
The Terrace at Galeries Lafayette Bar
Another favourite rooftop spot of mine is the eighth floor of Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann, with a breathtaking view over Paris and its most beautiful monuments: Opéra Garnier, the Eiffel Tower, Sacré Cœur, and Notre Dame.
Insider tip: Go during sunset for an experience you won’t soon forget.
The Frankie Shop
Chic, cool and contemporary basics to build your French girl style wardrobe around.
Insider tip: Mix feminine and masculine pieces together for effortless Parisian style.
This vibrant restaurant/club is in the heart of the 8th arrondissement of Paris, with a one-of-a-kind environment replete with a pianist and songbird. Come for the trad French cuisine and stay for the fancy, Parisian setting.
Insider tip: Bring your dancing shoes, because the night usually ends with some dancing on the tables!
This chic restaurant located just five minutes away from Place Vendôme is the perfect place to sit and take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Insider tip: While away the weekend with a bubbly brunch.
