The Peninsula: Art in Resonance 2026
This Arts Month, The Peninsula Hong Kong is launching the 2026 edition of its global “Art in Resonance” programme, transforming the iconic hotel into a captivating gallery of site-specific commissioned works. Running now through 5 May, the latest iteration brings together three contemporary artists—Hong Kong’s Angel Hui and Dr. William Lim, alongside Tokyo-based Indonesian ceramicist Albert Yonathan Setyawan—whose works grace the hotel’s façade, The Lobby, and The Verandah Café.

Hui’s shimmering embroidered goldfish installation, Swimming in Light, drifts across the first-floor windows in a playful nod to the hotel’s heritage, while Setyawan’s Metamorphic Modulation, presented in partnership with the V&A, fills The Lobby with over 700 hand-modelled ceramic pieces that play with shadow and perception.

Meanwhile, Dr. William Lim’s Walking On A Bright Future, created in collaboration with Tai Ping, offers an immersive full-scale takeover of The Verandah Café, enveloping guests in a hand-tufted tapestry and checker-patterned carpet inspired by his dreamlike oil painting of a boy gazing into a crystal ball.
- Where: The Peninsula Hong Kong, Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui
- When: Now through 5 May 2026

ArtHouse Tai Hang: A Neighbourhood-Wide Art Takeover
This March, the charming neighbourhood of Tai Hang is transforming into a living, breathing art destination as ArtHouse Tai Hang takes over the district from 21 to 25 March. Founded by curator Jacky Ho and supported by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, the contemporary art festival spans 10 exhibition houses across the quiet lanes and hidden courtyards, showcasing over 50 local and international artists across heritage buildings and contemporary galleries.
Among the standout names are contemporary ink artist Hung Fai, whose work is held in M+ and the Hong Kong Museum of Art—visitors can even add their own lines to an evolving collaborative piece—alongside Tai Hang-based artist Jason Ho, whose practice reflects the architectural fabric of his own neighbourhood, Japanese artist Tomohiro Takahashi known for his Neopets crossover, and Brooklyn-based Antone Konst, who blends everyday imagery with Eastern philosophy.

Getting there is half the fun: a fleet of specially wrapped taxis will shuttle visitors around, with artworks by the 50 artists adorning the vehicles themselves. The DASH app serves as a digital companion, allowing ticket holders to learn about the artists and enhance their experience, while the truly curious can pre-book their ride two days in advance for a unique journey accompanied by a curator en route.
Every HK$250 ticket includes a HK$50 consumption voucher redeemable at local Tai Hang favourites like Tipsy and SonneCAD—because gallery-hopping works up an appetite. With artwork co-creation, curator ride-alongs, and a neighbourhood dotted with discovery at every corner, ArtHouse Tai Hang offers an immersive way to experience the city’s creative energy beyond the usual gallery circuit.
- Where: Various locations across Tai Hang; Visitor Centre at Little Tai Hang (98 Tung Lo Wan Road, Causeway Bay)
- When: 21 – 25 March 2026, 11am – 6pm
- Website & Ticketing: HK$250 via the DASH App (includes HK$50 consumption voucher and HK$30 DASH Taxi coupon)

Dead Poets & The Old Man: An Art Month Collaboration
This March, the creative forces behind The Old Man and Dead Poets are transforming their venues into a corridor of liquid art and literature to celebrate Hong Kong Art Month. Rather than a single event, the neighbouring bars are hosting a multi-faceted program that runs throughout the month, blending cocktail craft with artistic expression.
At Dead Poets, the “Liquid Gallery V4: Dead Painters” menu turns cocktails into canvases, deconstructing the lives and styles of history’s most iconic artists into visually driven flavours. Think Leonardo Da Vinci and Frida Kahlo interpreted through spirits, with creations like Edward Munch’s “The Scream” featuring Earl Grey and banana cordial, or Andy Warhol’s “Campbell’s Highball” mixing Jack Daniel’s with clarified Coke and tomato syrup.

Over at The Old Man, the literary side of the equation gets equal billing through a new partnership with Gentle Books. The bar is offering a curated selection of secondhand classics for purchase, with Edition 1 titled “On Hemingway’s Shelf”—a thematic reading list inspired by the modernist era, featuring works the great writer kept close, including The Great Gatsby and The Grapes of Wrath.

For those seeking daytime options, the CROSSIP 0% ABV Boba Tea Series bridges street-style Hong Kong tea culture with cocktail craft, available now through May with premium alcohol-free bubble teas and the option to add a spirit shot.
- Where: The Old Man (LGF, 37 Aberdeen St, Central) & Dead Poets (Shop 5, LG/F, Shama, 21-29 Hollywood Rd, Central)
- When: Various dates throughout March 2025 (CROSSIP Boba Tea Series available through May)

Party
Open by HE.R: An Open-Air Street Party on Chater Road
This art season is going out with a bang. For the first time ever, Chater Road transforms into an open-air dance floor as HE.R 鶴 and Hongkong Land present Open, a massive street party serving as the grand finale of Art LANDMARK. Set for 29 March from 3pm to 10pm, this is less a quiet gallery stroll and more a full‑on celebration pairing electronic music with live street art and hands‑on mural moments. Expect the biggest and most exciting edition yet, turning Central’s iconic thoroughfare into a free‑spirited playground where music and visual creativity collide.
The lineup brings serious heat. Copenhagen’s club trailblazers Tripolism—Coachella and Tomorrowland alumni with a Pete Tong co‑sign—make their Asia debut, delivering their sleek blend of house, disco and techno. They’re joined by local favourites MĪMĪ x FY (residents at Mykonos’ Moni, with releases on Crosstown Rebels), plus HE.R SOUNDSYSTEM’s Alex Nude and Cocoa going back‑to‑back, and Hong Kong‑based DJ Ani Phoebe spinning vinyl‑forward Balearic sets with leftfield surprises. It’s a rare chance to dance in the middle of Chater Road as the city wraps up art month in style.
- Where: Chater Road, Central
- When: 29 March 2026, 3pm – 10pm
