Among the best places to enjoy it is at Komala Vilas, a Singapore heritage brand that has been going strong since 1947. Adding to the enjoyment is that meals are served on a banana leaf, and includes flaky roti bread, spice-laden briyani rice, and pancake-like dosais with curry and condiments.
Open Farm Community
Occupying 35,000 sq ft of urban farmland in central Singapore is Open Farm Community. Instead of telling you what you can and can’t eat, diners are encouraged to think about their relationship with food and to eat better. There are plenty of plant-based dishes, but also sustainably sourced seafood and beef. Gardening, cooking and eco workshops are held on-site regularly.
