Meet the Editor: Suzanne Delahunty, London

Introducing Suzanne Delahunty, the latest recruit to the London stable of LUXE lovelies.

After stints in France and Dublin, globestrutting Melburnite and media lawyer Suzanne now calls London home. Her gimlet eye for style and love of fashion is apparent in the shopping stories she’s penned for LUXE; you can catch more of her insider finds in the LUXE London guide.

Suzanne shares her 3 favourite spots to shop in London:

A High Street like no other, Marylebone High Street has all my favourite fashion brands, from the sophisticated Danish designer, By Malene Birger, to New York minimalism at Theory and quirky Spanish style at Bimba y Lola. All the French-girl favourites are there too (Maje, Sandro, BA&SH and Claudie Pierlot). And no shopping spree is complete until you’ve stopped in for refreshments at New Zealander Peter Gordon’s The Providores.

Liberty of London is always on the cutting edge with new designers, and has a reliable roll call of fashion stalwarts – it’s the perfect place to get your fashion fix under one (very stylish) roof. The striking interior of this Tudor-esque dame is worth a visit alone.

Matches Fashion in Notting Hill (also in Marylebone and Wimbledon) has the most meticulously curated selection of pieces from designers including Balenciaga, Isabel Marant, Jacquemus and The Row. Across the road from the Notting Hill store is Raey, the in-house brand of Matches, perfect for beautifully made basic pieces.
