In the City of Lights and in need of a top ‘tail? Paris certainly isn’t short on stylish sippers but we think these five libation sensations should be top of your list.
Experimental Cocktail Club
This NY-inspired, neo-baroque speakeasy kickstarted the city’s affair with the craft cocktail. Featuring half-timbered walls, contempo chandeliers and Chesterfields, the intimate Montorgueil imbiber mixes inventive blends with styley tunes. Try the elegant Experience No.1, made with vodka, elderflower, lemongrass and basil.

L’Entrée des Artistes
Fern-dotted, shab-chic L’Entrée des Artistes combines cocktails with global small plates and chilled beats, with a dim-lit bar below and window-lined eatery above. Order Le Bon, a fresh concoction of gin, apple juice, wasabi, celery and lime, or get smoky with Mon Vieux Tabac.

Andy Wahloo
Famous for its Afro-funky interiors and DJs, this quirksome Marais club (by Mourad ‘Momo’ Mazouz) teams terrines and tartines with a serious list of global spirits. Savour signature quaffs the Andy martini or Wahloo julep.

Dirty Dick
This cheekily-monikered tiki treat – decorated with Polynesian totems, bamboo furny and coloured lights – is your best bet for a tropi-cool escape without leaving the city. Tucked in Pigalle it serves its hipster clientele Mai Tais, Piña Coladas and Zombies spritzed by Cali bartender Scott Schuder.

Harry’s New York Bar
Last but not least, pay homage at this deceptively named legendary Parisian landmark in Opéra. It opened in 1911 and is the birthplace of the Bloody Mary. A secret recipe, its popular Petrifier is a craft whisky classic. Cin, cin!
