Laboratory meets conservatory at The Grounds of Alexandria, a former Sydney pie factory turned oh-so pretty industrial-rustic caff and roastery.
If ever the term ‘triple threat’ were apt, it’s in the case of Alexandria’s beautiful super coffee desti The Grounds. Well, in fact, ‘quadruple threat’ might be more appropriate given the property actually boasts not just a charming on-site café serving farm-fresh eats and top-notch joe, but also a full-blown coffee roasters and research facility, a bakery for take-home breads and sweet pastries, plus an organic kitchen garden abloom with homegrown vegetables, flowers, herbs and fruits. There’s even a farmers market held on the first weekend of every month, complete with arts n’ crafts, and petting zoo for the precious little burdens to enjoy. Phew!
Like all multi-talented stunners, this doll attracts a steady line of admirers daily, so turn up early or prepare to queue. Pretty, tasty and fam-friendly – perfect!
